The Atlantic Atlas Loop is designed for intermediate to advanced cyclists. Daily distances range from 46 to 165 km, with varied terrain, including coastal roads, rolling hills, and a significant mountain climb. The Tizi n’Test Pass (2,100m) on Day 6 is particularly challenging. Participants should be comfortable riding long distances on consecutive days and have experience with mountain climbs. Regular training before the tour is recommended to enjoy the experience fully.
What type of bikes are provided, and can I bring my own?
We provide high-quality road bikes suitable for this tour’s diverse terrain. However, if you prefer to ride your own bike, you’re welcome to bring it. We can also accommodate your pedals or saddle on our bikes. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring your own equipment so we can ensure proper setup.
How does the weather vary throughout the tour, and what should I pack?
The tour covers diverse climates, from coastal to mountainous regions. Coastal areas can be windy and mild, while the mountains may be significantly cooler, especially at higher elevations—pack layers, including wind and rain protection. For the coast, bring sunscreen and light, breathable clothing. For mountain sections, include warm layers and gloves. Don’t forget your swimwear for potential beach stops! We’ll provide a detailed packing list upon booking.
